Stolen Machines returned to a happy customer!

It’s always nice to share some great positive news…….

Recently one Saturday evening our team received a Facebook message from Kieran Felton of Lancashire Groundcare Ltd who, whilst out off-road biking, had come across two Utility Vehicles abandoned on some waste land near Longridge, Preston.

The machines looked like they had been hotwired, which raised alarm bells so Kieran contacted GGM as our details were on the vehicles and also reported them to the Police. We responded instantly and our Commercial Director Andy Melville recalled selling two of the same Utility Vehicles to an NHS facility near Longridge a few years ago. One of the GGM team quickly paid a visit to the customer, informing them of the situation and it turns out the machines had been stolen a week or so prior and had been reported but never traced.

We sent an engineer to collect both machines and brought them back to our premises so we could repair them. They are currently in our workshop and will soon be back with one happy and relieved customer.

Many thanks to Kieran for taking the time and effort to get in touch. His actions have resulted in us being able to return the vehicles to their rightful owner.
